Micro Key Credit Card Safety

In today's world all of us carry plastic in our wallets. I would like to share a few habits to practice to insure the safety of your identity and keep you from having to deal with credit card fraud.
1. Keep your credit card/debit card numbers confidential. Only give out verbally or over the Internet to those that are legitimate. Never just lay your cards around.
2. Don't carry all your cards with you. Not only can this lead to frivolous spending but it can also lead to credit safety mishaps.
3. Examine your bill every month. Make sure all your charges are actually yours. You only have 30 days to dispute them.
4. Opt out of all credit card marketing by registering with www.optoutprescreen.com
5. Check your credit report. Over 50% of credit reports have errors. You should thoroughly review your credit report every one to two years. You may request one free personal credit report in a 12 month period. You may also contact the Central Source at www.annualcreditreport.com or by calling (877) Fact-ACT. Any errors in the report need to be submitted in writing for verification. A reply is due back to you in 30 days.

What does it mean to be a Leader?

I want to start off by asking everyone "What does it mean to be a leader?" Recently I found out. I joined a program called Leadership of Osceola through Community Vision. This program was over a 24 week period where we met and discussed various issues each organization had within the community. Community Vision was started about 20 years ago and it is an organization that works with government, businesses, and individuals to solve issues our community faces on a day to day basis. Over the past few months I have gone to several meetings and programs throughout the community that showed us how we can make a difference in our lives, jobs, and communities. There are many ways to be a leader. You can lead by example, by dictating, by inspiring others to be the very best at whatever they are doing and many other ways. During this course we went to several key businesses and programs throughout the county and saw what organizations and individuals are doing to lead others in helping improve the community. We met various leaders from Mayors, to County Executive Officers, Emergency Service Personnel, Teachers and many others. At each organization you saw the different ways individuals led.

Through my experiences with this course I learned that there are many ways to lead. At the end of this I asked myself, "If I had to define what a leader is what would I say?" My definition of a leader is someone who is willing to go the extra mile and take the time to teach individuals and organizations the right way to do things. Someone who is willing to be the first person to jump into "battle" and show you it can be done. Someone who can acknowledge when someone else has a better way of doing things and getting that person involved to stand up and teach.

Now I want to hear your definitions, "What does it mean to be a leader to you?"

I encourage everyone to get involved in their communities and help lead there as well as in your business.

Micro Key Solutions Constant Improvement

Over the past few months we have taken great strides in adding value to things around here at Micro Key Solutions. We have drastically reduced our call time (adding value to Tech Support) and implemented many new features that were asked for over the past few months (adding value to Millennium). Our customers are our biggest asset and we continue to try and satisfy them by adding things in the software they had suggested. We have put together a very comprehensive and aggressive road map to incorporate all items in a timely fashion our customers were asking for. Programming has done a wonderful job and has crossed many of those items off the list. We are continuing to look to integrate new features and services that would be beneficial to our partners. The alarm industry is an ever changing industry and staying on top of that is a difficult task. We at Micro Key can assure you that we are committed to this task and will keep improving one day at a time.
